na hameñ suud na ziyāñ hai yaad
sirf ye nāla-o-fuġhāñ hai yaad
hoshyāroñ se pūchh ye bāteñ
aap ko bhūle jab kahāñ hai yaad
go ke muddat se is qafas meñ haiñ
par qadīm apnā āshiyāñ hai yaad
vahm ke apne sab mufassir haiñ
be-nishāñ kā kise nishāñ hai yaad
dil to aur hī makāñ meñ phirtā hai
na zamīñ hai na āsmāñ hai yaad
aage kuchh kuchh jo ham se kahte the
is se kuchh tum ko mehrbāñ hai yaad
