नूर-ए-अहमद की ज़िया आली नसब ज़ैनब में है
जज़्बा-ए-शेर-ए-ख़ुदा फ़ख़्र-ए-’अरब ज़ैनब में है
रुख़ को बालों से ढका है और नज़र नीची किए
कूफ़े की गलियों में वो देखा अदब ज़ैनब में है
काँपता है तख़्त पर बैठा हुआ ज़ालिम यज़ीद
वो जलाल-ए-शेर-ए-यज़्दाँ ख़ास अब ज़ैनब में है
घर लुटा कर भी दु'आ करती हैं उम्मत के लिए
जज़्बा-ए-ईसार-ओ-क़ुर्बानी 'अजब ज़ैनब में है
ज़िक्र उन का कर रहे हैं इस लिए हम बा-अदब
दीन-ए-अहमद का सभी ’इल्म-ओ-अदब ज़ैनब में है
कर दिए ’औन-ओ-मोहम्मद दीन पर क़ुर्बान ख़ुद
जज़्बा-ए-मौला 'अली भी सब का सब ज़ैनब में है
तर्बियत ज़हरा की है किरदार से 'अहमद' 'अयाँ
हर 'अता-ए-मुस्तफ़ा क़ुरआन-ए-रब ज़ैनब में है
