dayā paud sūkhe nahīñ chhimā sīñch jal Dhaar
gul aur chaman ke beach meñ phūlā ajab gulāb
mukti kalī satmāl kī pahirū gūñthī galhār
ashT kamal se upje liilā aagam apaar
kahae 'kabīr' chit chetak āvāgaman nivār
Do not go to the garden of flowers!
O Friend! Go not there;
In your body is the garden of flowers.
Take your seat on the thousand petals of the lotus,
and there gaze on the Infinite Beauty.
