chashm-e-ālam ham-chu tu dīgar na-dīd
har-dam az naua-e-digar aa.ī padīd
You are like a sight the world has never seen before
Every moment, you display a new charm.
gaah bar shakl-e-digar paidā shavī
gah shavī bar sāz-e-dīgar nā-padīd
Sometimes, you appear in a new form of splendor
At times, you become obscure to the eyes of the world.
gah shavī bar daar bar shakl-e-husain
gah shavī zāhir ba-shakl-e-bāyazīd
Sometimes, you are found on the spear in the form of Husain,
At times, you manifest in the form of Bayazid.
chand sirr-e-ḳhvesh rā zāhir kunī
bā-zabān-e-'ahmad' iiñ guft-o-shunīd
When will you reveal your secret?
Until when will this conversation continue in the language of Ahmad?
