gauhar-e-ishqat ze kān-e-dīgarast
tīr-e-shakat az kamān-e-dīgarast
The root of your love's essence is unique, And the arrow of your dignity and grandeur has emerged from no other bow.
tā.er-e-qudsī ki dar qālib rasīd
nek ba-nigar ze āshiyāna-e-dīgarast
That sacred bird which has come into existence, Look closely, it belongs to no other abode.
har ki az shamshīr-e-ishqat shud shahīd
zindagī-e-ū ba-jān-e-dīgarast
Every person who was martyred by the sword of your love, Their life is for another life.
tīr-e-ishq-e-ū ki bar jānam rasīd
az kamān-e-pahlavān-e-dīgarast
The arrow of your love that has struck me,
It has come from no other archer's bow.
'ahmad' az jām-e-sharābat mast shud
iiñ sharābe az dukān-e-dīgarast
Ahmed has become intoxicated by the cup of your wine,
But this wine is from another shop.
