tarab-e-rūh-e-man-o-mastem az bū-e-tū buud
Your love was a veil of your countenance in my heart.
The happiness of my soul and my ecstasy were due to your fragrance.
sākinān-e-haram-o-dair-o-kalīsā-o-kunisht
hama rā sajda-e-jāñ dar ḳham-e-abrū-e-tū buud
The inhabitants of the Haram, Dargah, Church, and Fire Temple
All prostrate to your honorable countenance.
ba-ayāñ-o-ba-nihāñ-o-ba-haqīqat ba-majāz
rū.-e-maḳhlūq-e-do-ālam taraf-e-rū-e-tū buud
In the apparent, in the hidden, in reality, and in essence,
The face of creation belongs only to you, encompassing both worlds.
chuuñ ki dar anfus-o-āfāq ze-tū āyātast
pas ba-har sū ki ba-dīdam ruḳh-e-nīko-e-tū buud
In the breaths and in the horizons, only your signs exist.
That's why wherever I look, I only see your beautiful face.
dīda-e-'ahmad'-e-be-dil ze-tamāshā-e-jamāl
ham chū ā.īna pur az partav-e-rū-e-tū buud
The gaze of Bedil Ahmad is adorned by your beauty,
Like the radiance of your face reflected in a mirror.
