yaram ba-wafadari jaanana-e-mashhurest
yāram ba-vafādārī jānāna-e-mash.hūrest
chuuñ manzil-e-jān-e-jāñ kāshāna-e-mash.hūrest
My friend, you are famous for your lover's loyalty,
Because the destination of the beloved is renowned for the destinations beyond.
ḳhūnash chu guzasht az sar aayad ba-kaf-e-dilbar
dar bazm-e-mohabbat dil paimāna-e-mash.hūrest
His blood has flowed from his head to the hands of the beloved,
Thus, the measure of the heart is famous in the gathering of love.
jāñbāzī-o-sidq-o-'azm dar siina numūda jam'
chuuñ dār-e-funūn-e-'ishq dil kHāna-e-mash.hūrest
Courage, truth, and determination are embedded in the heart,
Therefore, in the world of love's art, the treasury of the heart is renowned.
shor ar ba-sarash uftad braham zanad 'ālam rā
dastash na-zanīd iiñ dil dīvāna-e-mash.hūrest
The noise that is arising in his head will create a commotion in the world,
Do not touch this heart, for it is famous as a crazy heart.
dar majlis az aañ goyand dar maktab az aañ ḳhvānand
'ishq dil-e-'lāhūtī' afsāna-e-mash.hūrest
He said it in the gathering and read the same in the school,
That the tale of Lahuti's love is famous and acknowledged.
