Profile of Mujeebul Haque Kamali
Mujeeb-ul-Haq was born in 1280 AH in Simla district of Gaya. His father was Shah Ahmad Kabir Abul Hassan Shaheed bin Shah Muhammad Ali Firdausi, Kamaali was initially educated at home but went to Deora for higher education in Arabic and Persian and studied jurisprudence from Maulana Abdul Jabbar Badusari. He also studied medicine from Hakim Raza Hassan Khan and Hakim Riaz Ali Shahsarami. He learned diagnostics and continued to perform medical duties in Simla. was exalted by his father Shah Ahmad Kabir Abul Hassan Shaheed with esoteric knowledge and was also granted permission and caliphate as a disciple, and remained active in the promotion and expansion of the Firdausia order of Sufis. Mujeeb-ul-Haq wrote under the pen name Kamaali. He also had a taste for poetry. He wrote hymns and Naa'ts, Manqabats and ghazals, mostly in Persian, but also in Urdu. Unfortunately, his poems could not be preserved. He passed away in 1336 AH in Simla and is buried in his family burial.
