Poetic texts like 'Masnavi-e-Turab Dakani', 'Risala Bara Bahar' etc. were composed by Turab Dakani. Even today in Hyderabad, the Fakirs perform begging by singing his songs. His poems are imbued with folky flavors. The creation of ‘Bara Bahar’ dates to 1840 AD.
