az hadd-o-hisāb kār-e-’isyāñ ba-guzasht
dar tauba-e-ifi'āl-e-yārāñ ba-guzasht
az shāmat-e-ġhaflat na rasīdam ba-visāl
'umram hama dar dūrī-e-jānāñ ba-guzasht
My sins have exceeded all limits and calculations ;
In repentance rain shower has been put to shame
I missed union owing to my unfortunate carelessness ;
The life is passed in separation from the Beloved.
