az kār-e-jahāñ tamām inkār ḳhush ast
iiñ kaar kunī agar tū bisyār ḳhush ast
ḳhud rā ba-kanār gīr-o-ba-guzar za hama
dar ’ālam-e-tadbīr hamīñ kaar ḳhush ast
To renounce all attachment to the world is good,
If you follow this advice, it is really very good.
Adopt solitude and give up everything ;
In this fate-bound world this very thing is good.
