az wahm-o-kHayal-o-fikr-e-duniya ba-guzar
az vahm-o-kHayāl-o-fikr-e-duniyā ba-guzar
chuuñ bād-e-sabā za bāġh-o-saharā ba-guzar
dīvāna ma-sho ba-rañg-o-bū-e-gul-o-mul
hushiyār ba-sho az iiñ havā-hā ba-guzar
Abandon all thoughts, fancies and ideas about the world
And pass like the breeze through the garden and the desert ;
Be not enchanted by the tint and fragrance of flower and wine ; But be conscious ( of reality ) and give up ( vain ) desires.
