ba-guzar za ḳhudī ki diiñ qarīnat gardad
sar-e-daftar-e-a'amāl hamīnat gardad
dar har do-jahāñ sikka-e-nāmat ba-zanand
'ālam hama dar zer-e-nagīnat gardad
Give up vanity that Faith may get closer to you.
That you might stand at the head of all doers of good !
They will give you power to rule over both the worlds,
And the universe may be put under your care.
