be-fikr-o-kHayal-e-dost rahat na-buwad
be-fikr-o-kHayāl-e-dost rāhat na-buvad
andesha-e-māl-o-jāh-o-daulat na-buvad
sar rishta-e-jān-o-dil ba-dilbar ba-sipār
bā-daulat-e-pā.edār dūrat na-buvad
All comforts lie in the love for the Beloved,
And not in aspiring for position and wealth.
Surrender your life and heart to Him ;
And be not away from this immortal wealth.

ba-daulat-e-paedar durat na-buwad
