dar dahr agar hamsar-e-aflak shavī
pastī ba-guzīñ ki 'āqibat ḳhaak shavī
āzurdagī-e-jahān na-yarzad ba-joī
dāman ba-fishāñ za hirs tā paak shavī
In the world even if you become as high as heaven.
Be humble like the dust as you have to turn into dust.
Anxiety of the world is worth nothing :
Shake off your greed that you may become pure !

daman ba-fishan za hirs ta pak shawi
