dar dahr har aan ki nim-nane darad
dar dahr har aañ ki nīm-nāne dārad
az bahar-e-nashist āstāne dārad
ne ḳhādim-e-kase buud ne maḳhdūme kase
go shaad bazī ki ḳhush-jahāne dārad
In these days (of penury) he who has half a loaf of bread and a nest in which to rest, will serve none and be served by none; bless him, may he live with joy for he has a happy world to live in.
