dar har gunahe fuzūd bakHshāyash vujūd
sharminda ba-īñ tuur za kirdār numūd
kHizr-e-rah-e-man gunāh shuda āḳhir-kār
iiñ fazl-o-karam che buud iiñ jurm che buud
At every sin His bounties and generosity increased ;
Thus of our doings He put us to shame.
My sins turned at last a guide for me to know
What were His bounties and what my crime.
