dil ra ba-kHayal-e-u ham-aghosh ba-kun
dil rā ba-kHayāl-e-ū ham-āġhosh ba-kun
ḳhud rā ba-falak za auj ham-dosh ba-kun
iiñ harf za muttaqī farāmosh ma-kun
yād-e-do-jahāñ za dil farāmosh ba-kun
Let the love of God take root in your heart ,
And have the chance to rise to great heights of fortune.
Forget not these words of the ascetic :
“Let the care of both the worlds get out of you.
dil ra ba-kHayal-e-u ham-aghosh ba-kun
KHud ra ba-falak za auj ham-dosh ba-kun
in harf za muttaqi faramosh ma-kun
yaad-e-do-jahan za dil faramosh ba-kun
