duniyā talabāñ rā na ba-rāhat kaar ast
tā-ākHir-e-dam fikr-e-zar-o-dīnār ast
iiñ tā.ifa rā kHayāl-e-murdan na-buvad
paivasta ġham-e-sīm-o-zar-e-bisyār ast
Seekers after the world lack all comforts.
Up to the last they have to worry about gold ;
These people never think of their death,
So lost are they in longing for their wealth.

in taifa ra kHayal-e-murdan na-buwad
paiwasta gham-e-sim-o-zar-e-bisyar ast
Seekers after the world lack all comforts.
