duniyā hamagī agar kām-e-tū buvad
viiñ sikka-e-mehr-o-mah ba-nām-e-tū buvad
ākHir za jahān pa.e-baqā bāyad raft
gar qaisar-o-faġhfūr ġhulām-e-tū buvad
If the world -yields to the extent of your hopes
And if the sun and the moon shine as you desire,
( What use ) since you have to quit it
Even though Caesar and Faghfoor be your slaves ?
