har ja ki na-yabi tu nishani za jafa
har jā ki na-yābī tū nishānī za jafā
bā-mehr-o-mohabbat gul-o-būe za vafā
az kHalq-o-za ḳhulq khud na-dānī hargiz
aañ har do ba-dast-e-ūst guftam ba-ḳhudā
As you do not find everywhere signs of fickleness
Or of love and affection supported by sweetness and fidelity
You must bear in mind the creation and its lot,
These two are in God’s own hands.
