har kas ki darin zamana darad himmat
har kas ki darīñ zamāna dārad himmat
bāyad ki na-gīrad za kase juz 'ibrat
za āmīzish-e-kHalq kunj-e-’uzlat ba-guzīñ
vaz nek-o-bad-e-jahāñ talab kun vahshat
One who is blest with good luck in this world.
Would take nothing but a lesson from everything around him.
Give up men’s society in favour of a solitary corner ;
And fear all the good and the bad of the world !
