andesha ba-kun ba-bīñ ki vahmast-o-kHayāl
kaare ki az avval būdash rañj-o-malāl
mālast za mehnatash vabāl ast ma.aal
This worldly wealth is all grief and trouble,
Just think over it and see it’s unreal like imagination.
The thing that begins with grief and worries
Is wealth and its burden ends in trouble.
