paivasta a’ayān buud ma-go pinhān ast
iblīs ḳhudī charā ba-iblīs badī
dar pesh-e-kHayālāt-e-tū uu hairān ast
This cruel 'self’ of mine is indeed a Satan,
Ever visible and not at all hidden.
You yourself are a Satan—why condemn the devil ?
The devil himself is perplexed at your evil thoughts.
