iiñ sahl tamannāst ki dar mausam-e-gul
uu bar ḳhurd-o-kasham ba-sar mausam-e-gul
har gaah shavad do-chār-e-pindār-e-bahār
gar fasl-e-kHizān ast digar mausam-e-gul
It is a good wish that in the season of flowers
As He meets me I should enjoy the season of spring.
Whenever He meets you, take it for spring,
Whether it is autumn or the season of spring.
