’isyān-e-man ehsān-e-tuū na aayad ba-shumār
be-hadd-o-hisāb kai ba-yāyad ba-shumār
gar pesh-e-kHud iiñ hisāb-e-sad-sāl kunam
na fazl-e-tū na jurm-e-man aayad ba-shumār
My sins as well as Thy kindness have no limits.
Really a boundless thing defies all measurements.
If I take stock of this for hundred years
Neither Thy mercy nor my sins can be counted۔
