kardī tu 'alam ba-dilrubā.ī ḳhud rā
ham dar fan-e-mehr-o-āshnā.ī ḳhud rā
iiñ diida ki bīnā-ast tamāshā.i-e-tust
har lahza ba-sad rañg numā.ī ḳhud rā
Thou hast distinguished Thyself in enchanting hearts.
And also in the art of contracting friendships ;
To the penetrating eye which can see Thee,
Thou appearest in hundreds of forms every moment.
