ḳhud rā ba-kHayāl-e-dost dil shaad ba-kun
az mehnat-e-andoh-o-ġham āzād ba-kun
yārāñ ki shab-o-roz rafīqat būdand
az shādī-o-andoh hama yaad ba-kun
Keep your heart happy with the memory of the Beloved
And relieve yourself of worries, pains and sorrows.
The friends who were close to you day and night,
Remember them ever in weal and woe.
