mī-pursīdī ki chīst iiñ naqsh-e-majāz
gar bar goyam haqīqatash hast darāz
naqshest padīd-āmada az dariyā.ī
vaañ gaah shuda ba-qā’r-e-āñ-dariyā baaz
If thou seekest to know what a false picture is it (this life and its image of the sensual feeling and its surroundings), I would answer that its reality is a very long story; but( putting it briefly) it is like bubbles drawn on the sea which will return to its depths again.
