qaume mutafakkirañd dar mazhab-o-dīñ
jam'-e-mutahayyarañd dar shakk-o-yaqīñ
nāgāh munādī bar aamad za kamīñ
kaa.e be-ḳhabrāñ raah na ānast-o-na iiñ
One tribe anxiously contemplates religion and faith another sect is perturbed over disbelief and faith all at once came a voice from the unseen void. O! Ye ignorant ones! The truth path lies neither this way nor in the other way.
