pāband ma-sho ba-ranj-e-duniyā guftam
dil shaad ma-kun b-koh-o-sahrā guftam
'ālam hama pāband-e-sarābast ba-bīñ
ai josh-e-habāb-o-mauj-e-dariyā guftam
Be not swayed by the sufferings of the world, I have told you! Be not happy ( over walks ) in hills and deserts, I have told you! Just see, this world is unreal like a mirage,
I mean, the ebullition of the bubbles and the waves of the ocean.
