susti makun o fariza-e-haq ba-guzar
sustī makun o farīza-e-haq ba-guzār
dar ohda-e-āñ jahāñ manam baada bayār
dar ḳhūn-e-kase-o-māl-e-kase qasd makun
vaañ luqma ki daarī ze-kasāñ baaz madār
Do not neglect to fulfil thy religious observances and duty to the Almighty, and do not fail to share the morsel that thou hast with thy neighbour (who is needy); do not covet or have a (lurking) desire for the wealth of another or his blood, and bring me the wine as a promise of the other world.
