tars-e-ajal-o-bīm-e-fanā hastī-e-tust
varna za fanā shāḳh-e-baqā ḳhvāhad rust
man az dam-e-'īsavī shudam zinda ba-jāñ
marg āmad-o-az vujūd-e-man dast ba-shust
Thou fearest the Destined Time of thy death and of thy extinction, but from extinction the branch of (eternal) life will grow the breath of the Messiah gave me resurrection, but death came and from my existence it washed its hands.
