we kuza-gari ba-didam andar bazar
dī kūza-garī ba-dīdam andar bāzār
bar pāra-e-gil-e-hamī lakad zad bisyār
vaañ gil ba-zabān-e-hāl bā uu mī guft
man ham chuuñ tū būda-am marā neko daar
For I remember stopping by the way,
To watch a plotter thumping his wet clay:
And with its all-obliterated Tongue,
It murmur'd-Gently, Brother, gently, pray!
di kuza-gari ba-didam andar bazar
bar para-e-gil-e-hami lakad zad bisyar
wan gil ba-zaban-e-haal ba u mi guft
man hum chun tu buda-am mara neko dar
For I remember stopping by the way,
To watch a plotter thumping his wet clay:
And with its all-obliterated Tongue,
It murmur'd-Gently, Brother, gently, pray!
