dar bahr-e-kHajālat-o-nadāmat ġharqam
fazl-e-tū kunad chāra ba-gīrad ba-kanār
What to do, O God, my sins surpass all numbers ?
Take the boat of this distressed person out of the whirlpool.
I am sunk deep in the sea of shame and remorse,
Thy mercy only can help and take me to the shore !
