yarab tu karime-o-karime karamast
yārab tū karīme-o-karīme karamast
'aasī za che rū-ba-rūñ za bāġh-e-iramast
bā-tā’atam ar ba-baḳhshī aañ niist karam
bā-mā’siyatam agar ba-baḳhshī karamast
O! God Thou art merciful and mercifulness is generosity, then why is the sinner excluded from the Garden of Aram (Paradise); mercy to those who give devotion to Thee is really) no mercy (for virtue needs no mercy), if Thou forgivest me my sins, Thou wouldst be truly merciful.
