chaadar
Literally a blanket, 'Chadar' is a custom celebrated along with Urs, and is a symbol of respect and adoration. Devotees hold the four corners of the Chadar high above their heads, while the Qawwals recite the 'Chadar', or the hymn written specifically for this occasion. Besides Urs, Chadar is recited and practiced on other days of Chadar-Poshi.
