Chah-e-Babol (Babylonian Well), Haroot, Maroot, o Zohra
Harōt and Marōt are the names of two angels. Once, they spoke in a boastful manner, stating that humans on Earth become victims of greed and desire. They claimed that if they were in the same situation, they would remain as untouched as a drop of water. To test their resolve, ġhod sent them to earth.
Initially, they abstained from worldly desires and continued praising and glorifying ġhod. However, after some time, they were enchanted by a dancer named Zohra. She was beautiful and skilled in magic. She gained their attention, and in exchange for their knowledge of how to ascend to the heavens, she taught them her magic.
Displeased with their actions, ġhod, in turn, punished both Harōt and Marōt by hanging them upside down in the Babylonian wells.
It is said that both of them are still in the same state. The smoke from the entire world goes into those wells, causing them distress. After this incident, Zohra went to the third heaven and became a star named Zohra.
