Cheetah aur Chand (Tiger and Moon)
The Chētah is captivated by the beauty of the moon and desires to reach it, climbing mountains in the pursuit. From there, it leaps upward and falls back down.
Raftam andar pae maqsōd vale humchu pilang
Ba sar-e-koh ba qasd-e- mah-e-tābān raftam
I set out with the intention of achieving my purpose, but like a chētah leaping from the summit of a mountain with the aim of reaching the shining moon, I went. The meaning is that I could not attain my goal of reaching ġhod in the same way the chētah has not been able to attain the moon until today.
