Hazrat Khizr, Hazrat Iliyās (Elias), Hazrat Iisa (Jesus), and Hazrat Idrīs (Enoch) are said to be four prophets who are still alive.
Hazrat Khizr - He is considered a guide for those who wander in the deserts (dry lands). Elias - He guides lost wanderers in the places with water. In Persian literature, Hazrat Khizr is often associated with guiding travelers in both water and dry lands. He is believed to guide seafarers and travelers in jungles. The role of Hazrat Khizr is understōd to be that of showing the way to those in need, whether in ships on the sea or in the jungles.
Hazrat Khizr is often depicted wearing a green garment, and wherever he sits, the place becomes lush and vibrant.
Hazrat Iisa (Jesus) - He is alive on the fourth heaven.
Hazrat Idrīs (Enoch) - He was from the lineage of Hazrat Adam and is said to have lived a long life before ascending to the heavens, body and all.
