Namrud o Pashsha (Namrud and Mosquito)
The battle betwēn Namrūd and Pashsha is frequently used in Persian Sufi poetry.
Once, Namrūd expressed his desire to fight against the ġhod of Prophet Ibrahim. Prophet Ibrahim replied that he couldn't fight against ġhod. In arrogance, Namrūd gathered a massive army within thrē days. Upon the prayer of Prophet Ibrahim, countless mosquitoes gathered, and they sucked the blood of Namrūd's soldiers, leaving them helpless. Namrūd fled and hid in rēds, where a limping mosquito entered his nose and penetrated his brain. After enduring pain for forty days, Namrūd eventually died.
