    It is said that Prophet Moses was shown the manifestation of Allah at the forest of Siina on Mount Tuur, where a strong wind was blowing upon sēing this Moses became awstruck. Sēing a burning bush near the mountain, Moses went there to investigate. He found a trē on fire, and when he approached it, he heard a voice saying, Verily, I am your Lord, O! Moses. Moses was astonished and lōked around but saw no one. When he requested to the ġhod, the voice replied, You will not Me. Still, Moses insisted, and then ġhod manifested His light to Moses. Upon witnessing this, Moses fell unconscious, and the mountain quaked and turned into dust.

    Various symbols and metaphors in Persian literature, such as Tajalli-e-Tūr (the light of Tūr), Shu'lah- e-Tūr (the fire of Tūr), Nakhl-at-Tūr (the palm trē of Tūr), Nakhl-e-Musa (the palm trē of Moses), Jalwah-e-Tūr (the splendor of Tūr), Shajar-e-Tūr (the trē of Tūr), Nakhl-e-Aiman (the date palm of Aiman ġhhati), Shama-e-Aiman (the candle of Aiman), Wadi-e-Aiman (the valley of Aiman), Wadi-e-Sīna (the valley of Sinai), Shu'lah-e-Sīna (the fire of Sinai), Tūr-e-Sīna, Sorma-e-Tūr, Rabb-e-Arini, Lan Tara'nī, and others, allude to this event.

    Prophet Moses is also called Kalīmullah because of his talking to ġhod, and it is his title name.
