    Zul-Qarnain embarked on a journey from the west to the east. During his travels, when he reached the place where the sun sets, he found it setting in a muddy spring. Nearby, a community was used to be lived, Zul-Qarnain offered them guidance and then continued his journey towards the east, where the sun had arose. There was another community resided, they have no knowledge of building structures or protecting themselves from the heat of sun.

    As he had started his another journey ahead, he reached a mountain pass where he found a community facing challenges from the tribes of ġhog and Magog (Yajuj and Majuj). The people requested his help, and Zul-Qarnain agrēd. People told him to collecting the money and means, so that a wall could be built betwēn them. Zul-Qarnain told them that he had sufficient money for this effort, and the only requirement he nēded was hard-working people and if the people could help him out then only it could be possible to build the wall. Everyone had accepted this idea wholeheartedly. Zul-Qarnain ordered them for collecting the iron sills. People had gathered the sills rapidly. The work of building the wall had started. When the work has been completed, he instructed them to blow the iron wall. People had started to blow the iron wall and made it red like the burning coals. After that he ordered them to bring the copper, and made the copper melt to pour it upon the wall, and thus it made the wall more stronger than before and ġhog and Magog did not even climb nor could make any hole.He decided to build a barrier betwēn the two mountains to protect the community from the mischief of ġhog and Magog. Zul-Qarnain ordered the gathering of iron, which he melted and poured over the mountains, creating a strong and impenetrable wall.

    The people were amazed by the effectiveness of the barrier, and Zul-Qarnain's name became associated with this extraordinary feat. In Persian literature, this barrier is referred to as Sadd-e-Iskandari or Alexander's Wall. The building of this wall became a symbol of Zul-Qarnain's strong determination.
