दिलबर दे विछोड़े अन्दर, अजे रेहा मैं ज़िन्दा

इशक़ मुहब्बत तेरे अन्दर, मैं मशहूर जहानीं

की कुझ्झ गल्ल सज्जन दिल बैठी, चित्त मेरे थीं चायआ

मौते नाळों बुरी जुदाई मैनूं यार सुहाई

हे माशूका ! मैं मर चुक्का, अग्गों देर ना लावीं

बुरे नछत्तर जरम ल्या सी, मैं दुख्यारा जंमदा

बहुती उमर गुज़ारी ऐवें यार ना नज़रीं पैंदे

aaj ik aur baras biit gayā us ke baġhair

jis ke hote hue hote the zamāne mere
