ہاں مگر پیار ہے ہمارے بیچ
نا سمجھ کیسے تجھ کو سمجھاؤں
پھول بھی خار ہے ہمارے بیچ
اک نظر دیکھ کر جھکا لیں نظر
یوں بھی اقرار ہے ہمارے بیچ
میری جاں پھر کبھی نہ ہوں گے جدا
موت درکار ہے ہمارے بیچ
وصل بھی ہجر ہو گیا ہے املؔ
ایک کردار ہے ہمارے بیچ
