اے برادر ہو بہ ہو ہے شخص و عکس
برگ ہی کی ذات کا ہے جملہ رس
ہے ادب بندہ خدا نہ بولنا
ایک شئے کو بار ہا یوں تولنا
باصفت موصوف پیدا اس طرح
نظم سے ناظم ہویدا جس طرح
نثر سے نثار کا چلتا پتہ
جب نہ ہو صنعت تو صانع لا پتہ
