کٹتی ہے گردن نہ یارب دم نکلتا ہے مرا
کٹتی ہے گردن نہ یارب دم نکلتا ہے مرا
سخت جانی سے پشیماں میں بھی ہوں قاتل بھی ہے
سامنے آنکھوں کے لاکھوں مرگئے جل کر مگر
شمع اب تک الفتِ پروانہ کا قائل بھی ہے
