جو راہ سوچتے رہے ان کو ملی نہ راہ
جو بڑھ گئے وہ بڑھ کے سفر ختم کر گئے
چھوٹی نہ طائرانِ چمن سے چمن کی لاگ
اس شاخ سے اڑے کبھی اس شاخ پر گئے
خورشیدِ داغِ دل کبھی ہوتا نہیں غروب
جاؤں گا قبر میں بھی اجالا لیے ہوئے
