ہزار مرتبہ دیکھا ستم جدائی کا
ہوز حوصلہ باقی ہے آشنائی کا
جو بخت کج سے میسر نہ ہو سکے رہ راست
نہ دیجے خضر کو الزام رہ نمائی کا
نہ پہنچنے کا سبب تابہ نکتۂ تحقیق
فقط قصور ہے ممتازؔ کی رسائی کا
