حیف یہ جوشِ جنوں وحشت کا خواہاں ہے رہا
ہاتھ میں اپنے سدا صحرا کا داماں ہے رہا
کب ہوئی تقصیر بہجتؔ پر ثبوت اے بدگماں
واقعی اس پر رقیبوں کا تو بہتاں سے رہا
